Deborah Elected CDC President
On June 29th, Deborah was elected the President of the Concordia Deaconess Conference (CDC) during the annual meeting of the conference. The “Concordia Deaconess Conference is a free association of certified or LCMS rostered deaconesses who subscribe to and live by the confessional position of the LCMS and who hold membership in a congregation of the same. CDC is a Recognized Service Organization of The Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod.” (From the CDC website.)
Deborah has previously served as CDC Vice-President for four years and as the Chair of the Public Relations Committee for 2 years. The position of President is for 2 years with one re-elected term allowed.
Please pray for wisdom and strength for Deaconess Deborah, and for the work of all deaconesses.
